Terms and conditions

1.    General Terms and Conditions

The general terms and conditions regarding the provision of services are an integral part of the contract between the company Sea Escapes d.o.o., the travel agency Collegium Travel (hereinafter: the Agency), and the traveler who accepts the offer. These terms and conditions apply to all services provided by the Agency, either directly or indirectly through the internet, email, or phone. Everything included in the general terms and conditions constitutes a legal obligation for both the traveler and the Agency.


2.    Categorization and Description of Services

The accommodations and facilities offered are described in accordance with the official categorization of the Republic of Croatia valid at the time of publication and based on the Agency's data.
If available, parking is free and included in the room price. If the accommodation facility does not have its own parking, parking is provided at the Agency's parking lot, and travelers will be escorted to the facility.
Free Wi-Fi is available in all facilities. The Agency is not responsible for technical issues caused by the service provider.
The Agency provides services according to the information published and valid at the time of booking confirmation, except in circumstances beyond its control (e.g., illness of the service provider or their family, natural disasters, wars, strikes, pandemics, terrorist acts, government restrictions, etc.).
Average electricity, water, and gas costs are included in the accommodation price, as well as bed linen, towels, and additional services specified in the description of the booked unit.
Check-in is available between 3:00 PM and 8:00 PM. Early check-in is subject to availability and must be confirmed with the Agency.
Check-out is until 10:00 AM. Check-out is performed at the accommodation, and the check-out time must be confirmed with the Agency at least one day in advance.
The cost of early check-in/check-out depends on availability and amounts to 50% of the room rate per night. Payment must be confirmed with the Agency.


3.    Prices and Accommodation Reservation

The current price list is published on www.collegiumtravel.eu. The Agency reserves the right to change published prices. Possible price deviations are not subject to complaints. Once the reservation is confirmed, prices cannot be changed except in cases of obvious or system errors.
VAT is included in the price.
The tourist tax is included in the price. Pets are not allowed.
Baby cribs are available only upon prior arrangement and are free of charge. A lost key is charged €35 per key.
By booking accommodation, the traveler enters into a direct legally binding contractual relationship with the Agency.
Payment terms and cancellation options depend on the type of accommodation and the selected price at the time of booking. Payment is made directly to the Agency's bank account, by credit card, or in cash as agreed with the Agency's reservation center.
To confirm a reservation, an advance payment is required, which is usually equal to the price of the first night. The exact advance payment amount will be specified when selecting accommodation and on the payment page.


4.    Traveler's Rights to Modify and Cancel Reservations

If the traveler wishes to modify or cancel the reservation, they must do so in writing (via email or postal mail). If modification is not possible and the guest cancels the reservation, the cancellation policy applies, depending on the selected accommodation and period of stay. In most cases, the cancellation fee equals the price of the first night.


5.    Agency Obligations

The Agency is obligated to provide all agreed-upon services and safeguard the rights and interests of the traveler in accordance with tourism standards. If unforeseen circumstances arise, the Agency will offer an alternative solution or a suitable replacement accommodation.


6.    Traveler Obligations

The traveler must have valid travel documents and comply with the customs and foreign exchange regulations of the Republic of Croatia.
Costs incurred due to lost or stolen documents are the traveler's responsibility.
The traveler must adhere to house rules and avoid causing damage. Otherwise, they are obligated to cover any resulting costs.


7.    Credit Card Payments

Payments via www.collegiumtravel.eu are processed through the secure Stripe payment system, which supports Mastercard®, Maestro®, and Visa cards.


8.    House Rules

Travelers must adhere to the house rules, which include regulations regarding noise, safety, and respectful handling of property. If a guest fails to comply with the rules, the Agency reserves the right to terminate the stay without refund.


9.    Complaints

Each traveler has the right to file a complaint if the paid services were not provided. The complaint must be submitted immediately upon arrival and documented with photos. If the traveler leaves the accommodation without notifying the Agency, they forfeit their right to a refund.


10.    Privacy

The Agency respects the right to data privacy in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

11.    Jurisdiction

Any disputes between the traveler and the Agency fall under the jurisdiction of the court in Zagreb, applying Croatian law.
